Unprecedented Confession of One of the Iranian Regime’s Leaders in Gaining Knowledge of Producing Nuclear Bomb
Mullah Ahmad Khatami, a member of the Assembly of Experts, Friday Imam of Tehran, and a Khamenei’s inner circle member, admitted in a speech in Mashhad: “We have the formula for building an atomic bomb” and “We consider nuclear energy to be vital to us.” (IRNA 9 Feb. 2019)This is while officials in the mullahs’ regime had always strongly denied attempting to acquire knowledge of atomic bombs and attempts to build atomic bombs. This clearly demonstrates that the mullahs’ regime has always been hiding and continuing to cover the “Possible Military Dimensions (PMD)”.
Three weeks ago, Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Iranian regime’s Atomic Agency, also acknowledged that, in atomic negotiations with the P5 + 1, he had lied about the Arak site and had hidden, upon Khamenei’s order, some of the prohibited equipment they had bought (State-run Channel 4 TV- 22 January 2019).
At a conference in Washington D.C. in April 2017, representative of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) revealed continued activities of the SEPAND organization, an organization in Iran’s Defense Ministry working on the construction of nuclear weapons, and emphasized that the activity of this organ has expanded in a center named Parchin Research Institute.
Sheer lies regarding PMD and concealment of unauthorized equipment in Arak are part of the 30-year deception of the mullahs’ regime in nuclear projects under the leadership of the regime’s officials, especially Khamenei and Rouhani. The Iranian Resistance has consistently exposed this issue since 1992 and warned against its dangers. The regime’s genuine approach in atomic negotiations, especially with the P5 + 1, has been nothing but lying and concealment, and had no intention but gaining more time to obtain a nuclear bomb.
In a book titled “National Security and Nuclear Diplomacy,” Rouhani wrote: “The Iranian regime intended to present the world “with a fait accompli”, and run “54,000 centrifuges” by March 2003″, and “produce 30 tons of 3.5 percent fuel” annually. However, the PMOI suddenly “launched a press conference” and introduced the sites of Natanz and Arak, and “made a lot of noise by making insubstantial allegations”. In 2006, he admitted that in negotiations with European Troika “how Teheran played for time and tried to dupe the West after its secret nuclear programme was uncovered by the Iranian opposition in 2002.”(Sunday Telegraph- March 5, 2006).
