Shkëmbim i frytshëm me Antonio Abreu, Drejtor i Programit MAB të UNESCO-s, ndërsa përgatisim hapat e ardhshëm drejt shpalljes së Luginës së Vjosës si rezervat biosfere i UNESCO-s këtë shtator, pas rekomandimit pozitiv të Komitetit Këshillues. Kjo njohje e rëndësishme është bërë e mundur falë dosjes së shkëlqyer të kandidaturës së paraqitur nga qeveria shqiptare, e cila pasqyron një angazhim të fortë dhe një vizion të qartë për ruajtjen dhe zhvillimin e qëndrueshëm.
Pjesëmarrja në Rrjetin Botëror të Rezervateve të Biosferës do të forcojë më tej mbrojtjen e ekosistemit të jashtëzakonshëm të Vjosës dhe do të hapë mundësi të reja për turizëm të qëndrueshëm dhe zhvillim ekonomik vendor.
Ndamë shumë ide frymëzuese për projekte të ardhshme në partneritet me UNESCO-n.

Productive exchange with Antonio Abreu, Director of UNESCO’s MAB Programme, as we prepare the next steps toward the designation of the Vjosa Valley as a #UNESCO biosphere reserve this September, following the positive recommendation of the Advisory Committee.
This important recognition has been made possible by the excellent candidature file submitted by the Albanian government, which reflects both a strong commitment and a clear vision for conservation and sustainable development.
Becoming part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves will not only strengthen the protection of Vjosa’s extraordinary ecosystem, but also unlock new opportunities for sustainable tourism and local economic development.
Plenty of inspiring ideas were shared on future projects in partnership with UNESCO.
