Tune in live for an important forum focused on elevating high-impact solutions to the nation’s opioid epidemic, hosted by the Clinton Foundation’s Health Matters Initiative and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Since President Clinton kicked off the Clinton Foundation’s opioid overdose and substance use prevention campaign in 2012, CHMI has worked aggressively to cut overdose-related deaths with both immediate and long-term solutions, including working to increase the availability and affordability of naloxone, an opioid overdose reversal drug.
This year’s forum is the third in a series of events at the Bloomberg School of Public Health that have brought together leading experts to present evidence-based solutions to address the rapidly evolving epidemic. Speakers, panelists, and thought-leaders will consider critical components needed to reduce the injury and death rates nationwide. Evidence-based recommendations will be the focus, and translating that evidence to action will be the goal.
