TV Klan has published the official motivation of Ylli Manjani’s dismissal and his replacement with Petrit Vasili. The paper signed by Edi Rama says:

“In the function of further improvement of the quality of co-governing and of a better coordinated work with the Parliament, other social actors and groups of interest, I have judged as necessary to release Ylli Manjani and his replacement with the Minister Vasili”.

The decision comes in tense situation within the governing coalition, after some strong accusations from LSI officials against the government or local socialist exponents job.

Earlier today, the prime minister met the Parliament Speaker and LSI chairman, Ilir Meta. The later summoned later Manjani in his office.

Ylli Manjani was appointe minister of justice in the end of 2015. He is the third LSI minister who leaves Rama’s cabinet, after his predecessor Nasip Naço and former minister of transport, Edmond Haxhinasto.
