I convey my love

Through the potent

force of passion,

Urging you, “Hold fast,”

For fate binds us together.

I contemplate you each night

As I rest in my bed.

As I slip into slumber,

I traverse to another realm.

All falls into silence

Save for my musings of you,

I cannot hush them

As they are the sole conduit,

Linking me to you.

I wish not to venture elsewhere

I desire to remain here,

Stretch the night as far as possible

So I may partake in sharing with you

This reverie.

I convey my love to you

Through my celestial guardian,

Embracing you in your sleep,

Whispering, “You’ve captured

my heart forever.”

When love dissipates

There’s naught left to utter

Except to dream the dream

We aspired to share together!
