Blinken confirmed that he had received complaints from State Department staff about the Biden administration’s attitude toward the war in Gaza

“Since October, several people in the State Department have raised questions, expressed concerns, criticisms of the policies that Israel is pursuing, the policies that we are pursuing,” Blinken said in an interview with CNBC in Davos.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken confirmed today publicly for the first time that he received complaints from State Department staff about the attitude of US President Joseph Biden’s administration towards the war in Gaza.

“Since October, several people in the State Department have raised questions, expressed concern, criticism of the policy that Israel is pursuing, the policy that we are pursuing,” Blinken said in an interview with CNN in Davos.

“We have something called a ‘Dissent Channel’ that allows anyone to voice concerns. We’ve had a lot of it. I’ve read it all,” he said.

Other American TV networks also reported on the anger of employees in the Biden administration due to the policy towards the war in Gaza, especially the number of civilian casualties that continues to rise, and, as far as is known, at least one State Department official has resigned.
