The former director of the Security and Information Agency (BIA), Aleksandar Vulin, said that the president of the marginal opposition Republican Party in Serbia, Nikola Sandulovic, was detained on his orders on suspicion that he was actively working to support the secession of Kosovo and undermine the constitutional order of Serbia.
Vulin stated that the detention was carried out by his order, which remained in force even after his resignation.
The arrest order followed, he said, after Sandulovic laid a wreath on the grave of Adem Jasari, one of the KLA fighters, in Kosovo.
„If Sandulovic had laid a wreath on Himmler’s grave, Mossad would have killed him, if he had laid a wreath on Osama bin Laden’s grave, the CIA would have killed him. Laying a wreath on the grave of the murderer of Serbs Adem Jasari, Sandulovic was only detained by my order and detained by the order of the prosecutor,“ Vulin told „Vecernje Novosti“.
Sandulovic’s lawyer stated that, after being detained, his client was beaten or poisoned and immobilized, but there is no independent confirmation of this information.
