In memoriam Sahar Fallah
Sahar Fallah, born on October 22, 2000, was a 25-year-old English language instructor and a student of Insurance Management at Kharazmi University in Tehran.
Originally from Tehranpars, she was the only daughter of her family and was described by those who knew her as a young, energetic woman with plans for her future.
During the nationwide protests in January 2026, Fallah took part in demonstrations in Tehranpars.
On the night of January 9, 2026, she was reportedly shot in the head near the Third Square of Tehranpars, with some reports placing the incident near Police Station 126.
She died from the gunshot wound during the crackdown on protesters.
