Poetry cycle from the book of Self Confessions by Mevi Rafuna
Invincible soul
You can’t share
your sorrows with anyone.
There you are alone in infinity.
You will feel like an ant
You will like God
You will get used to the pain
You won’t complain anymore:
Every morning
Every night
Every day
Every week
Every month
Every year.
Until your soul is lifted up again
then you will have no more fear,
then you are invincible.
Me
Pale face
Dreamy eyes
Melancholic smile
Brown hair
Slim body
This is me surprisingly!
Maybe I’m not like either
maybe I’m energy.
I listen my intuition
that speaks to me.
This world don’t understand me!
Maybe this world understand me
but don’t accept me.
I don’t know!
Sometimes I’m very close to myself.
Sometimes I’m far away from myself.
I’m a woman who cries,
I’m a woman who fights
I’m a woman who loves.
As if we never were
I stay in the dream every time
reality stings me.
Man has little time to change
Man has little time to live
Man has little time to love.
Everything becomes nothing!
As if we never were.
We will be:
Tears
Rain
Snow bubbles
Rainbow colors.
We will be forgotten,
without leaving a trace.
