Kompozitori Thoma Simaku, cikël leksionesh në universitetet amerikane

Thomas Simaku po viziton SHBA-në për një sërë leksionesh dhe master-klasash në universitetet amerikane. Ai dha një leksion mbi Ciklin e tij të Solilokut në Universitetin e Miami, Shkolla e Muzikës Frost më 27 mars 2023.

Pjesa e tij ‘L’Image Oubilée d’après Debussy’ u interpretua në Festivalin New Music Miami ISCM 2023. E interpretuar nga Chen-Hui Jen, koncerti u zhvillua në Sallën Wolfsonian të Universitetit Ndërkombëtar të Floridës më 29 mars 2023. E porositur nga Late Music Concerts Yorks, kjo pjesë u shkrua për të shënuar njëqind vjetorin e Debussy dhe u shfaq premierë në York nga James Willshire. Tani është përfshirë në CD-portretin e Simakut të realizuar nga Joseph Houston dhe të lëshuar nga labeli suedez BIS Records. Siç e përshkroi kritiku gjerman Guido Fischer në rishikimin e tij Rondo-Das Klassik & Jazz Magazin, pjesa “ka një individualitet magjik”.

Thomas Simaku is visiting the USA for a series of lectures and master-classes at American universities. He gave a lecture on his Soliloquy Cycle at the University of Miami, Frost School of Music on 27th March 2023.

His piece ‘L’Image Oubilée d’après Debussy’ was performed at the New Music Miami ISCM Festival 2023. Performed by Chen-Hui Jen, the concert took place at The Wolfsonian Hall of the Florida International University on 29th March. Commissioned by the Late Music Concerts Yorks, this piece was written to mark the centenary of Debussy and was premiered in York by James Willshire. It has now been included in Simaku’s CD-portrait performed by Joseph Houston and released by the Swedish label BIS Records. As the German critic Guido Fischer described it in his Rondo-Das Klassik & Jazz Magazin review, the piece “has a magical individuality”.
